Silicone sealant “Sanitary” forms an antifungal, water-resistant, and elastic seam.
Purpose: for sealing seams and joints in bathrooms, shower cabins, pools, sanitary rooms, basements, kitchens, and other rooms and buildings operated in high-humidity conditions.
Application: working surfaces must be dry, strong, and level, thoroughly cleaned of dust, dirt, ice and frost, mould, grease stains, old coating residues, other contaminants, and poorly bonded particles. Damaged or porous surfaces should be pretreated with a 1:10 working solution of TM Lacrysil primer concentrate and dried. Before use, make sure the product and ambient temperature is within (+0...+40)°C. Fill the working cavity with an even continuous layer of sealant and form the desired seam shape using a special template or a spatula moistened with soapy water. Recommended seam dimensions are (2-6)x(2-6) mm; final layer formation takes 24-48 hours and depends on many parameters. Attention! Avoid direct contact with natural stone, metal, and mirror surfaces.

What is it suitable for?
Forms an antifungal, water-resistant, and elastic seam.
When is it not suitable?
Do not apply to wet, greasy, dusty, or weak substrates; permanent water immersion requires a separate compatibility check.
What is the consumption or yield?
Product specification guide: 12 linear m (6x6 mm seam). For an exact estimate, consider area, joint size, application method, and substrate condition.
How long does the layer dry or form?
Product specification guide: 24 - 48 hours. Cold, humidity, or a thick layer can increase the waiting time before loading.
What are the common mistakes?
Applying over an old weak layer, skipping cleaning, wrong joint geometry, and water contact before the layer forms.
