mounting foam cleaners are used after working with mounting foam or adhesive foam, when fresh residue needs to be removed quickly and the applicator gun needs flushing. The cleaner is used on tools, can valves, work surfaces and areas where the foam has not yet cured.

What the cleaner is used for
  • flushing an applicator gun after using mounting foam or adhesive foam;
  • removing fresh foam residue from the valve of an aerosol can;
  • cleaning tools, clothing, work areas and construction surfaces from fresh contamination;
  • maintaining equipment so foam does not dry inside the nozzle and feed channel;
  • degreasing selected construction surfaces before decorative finishing work.
When to apply it
  • immediately after finishing work with mounting foam or adhesive foam;
  • while the foam is still fresh and has not cured;
  • before a work break, if the applicator gun needs to remain clean;
  • after contamination of a valve, nozzle, tool or work surface;
  • for cured polyurethane foam, cleaner is not the main removal method — cured foam is removed mechanically.
What to check before cleaning
  • the cleaner is based on a mixture of organic solvents and propellants, so it should be handled carefully;
  • before use, the can is shaken and either the spray nozzle is used or the applicator gun is connected;
  • for gun flushing, cleaner is left inside briefly and then flushing is repeated until the required result is reached;
  • contact with polystyrene products and sensitive surfaces should be avoided;
  • application temperature and safety rules should be checked against the specific product instructions.
