Description

Professional polyurethane adhesive foam is intended for installing thermal insulation boards and panels on facades and building foundations, as well as for fixing foam and aerated blocks.

It is a one-component polyurethane adhesive foam in aerosol packaging for use with an applicator gun. It is used indoors and outdoors for fixing thermal insulation boards, installing wall panels, filling expansion joints, cavities and gaps, sealing joints, and installing construction materials in household and industrial work.

The formed layer requires protection from UV radiation. After curing, the joint surface should be painted or plastered to reduce the effect of sunlight on the material.

Before application, clean working surfaces from dust, dirt, grease, ice, frost, and other deposits. At positive temperatures, moisten the substrate immediately before application. Use the adhesive foam at +10°C ... +35°C and relative air humidity of at least 70%.

Before use, keep the can at the manufacturer-recommended temperature, shake thoroughly for at least 1 minute, and attach it to the applicator gun. Apply adhesive foam in strips or dots, keep the layer in the air for 2-3 minutes, then press the element firmly and fix it for about 10 minutes.

The working position of the can is upside down. Shake it periodically during application. Uncured adhesive foam can be removed from the applicator gun and contaminated surfaces with TM Lacrysil mounting foam cleaner, avoiding contact between the cleaner and polystyrene foam surfaces.

Benefits
  • designed for use with an applicator gun;
  • suitable for professional installation of thermal insulation boards and panels;
  • helps fix foam and aerated blocks;
  • convenient for strip or dot application;
  • has lower secondary expansion compared with the household version in this group;
  • available in an 800 ml format.
Where to use
  • installation of thermal insulation boards and panels on facades;
  • work on building foundations;
  • fixing foam and aerated blocks;
  • installation of wall panels;
  • filling expansion joints, cavities, and gaps;
  • sealing joints in household and industrial work.
How to choose a variant
  • 800 ml suits work with several boards, panels, or filling areas;
  • choose the professional format when controlled gun application is needed;
  • consider the orange color if the application area remains visible before finishing;
  • if an applicator gun is not used, the household adhesive foam with an adapter tube is more appropriate.
How to use
  • clean surfaces from dust, dirt, grease, ice, frost, and other deposits;
  • at positive temperatures, moisten the substrate before application;
  • before use, shake the can for at least 1 minute and attach it to the applicator gun;
  • apply adhesive foam in strips or dots and keep the layer in the air for 2-3 minutes;
  • press the element firmly and fix it for about 10 minutes;
  • after curing, protect the joint from UV radiation by painting or plastering.
FAQ: use, consumption, and common mistakes
  • What is it suitable for?
    Professional adhesive foam for an applicator gun, installation of thermal insulation boards and panels, fixing foam and aerated blocks, and filling joints and cavities.

  • When is it not suitable?
    Do not leave the formed PU joint exposed to UV; do not use it as a load-bearing structure or a replacement for proper fixing.

  • What is the consumption or yield?
    No separate consumption value is listed, so estimate from area, joint size, or recommendations for the specific application method.

  • How long does the layer dry or form?
    Product specification guide: 0.5 - 6 hours. Cold, humidity, or a thick layer can increase the waiting time before loading.

  • What are the common mistakes?
    Cold can, wrong working position, overfilling, missing moisture when instructions require it, and an unprotected joint in sunlight.
