Description

Fire-resistant professional polyurethane mounting foam provides reliable installation and sealing of door and window blocks, filling cracks, gaps, cavities, openings, and fixing pipes in cavities.

One-component polyurethane mounting foam in aerosol packaging for use with an applicator gun. It has a high fire-resistance level, B1 flammability class, and is intended for filling installation openings in fire barriers and building structures. It requires protection from UV radiation.

Application: use the product at +10°C to +30°C and ambient relative humidity of at least 70%. To ensure maximum yield and optimal physical and mechanical foam properties, keep the can at +18°C to +30°C for at least 24 hours before use. Immediately before use, mix the contents thoroughly by shaking intensively for at least 1 minute, remove the protective cap, attach the applicator gun to the valve, and apply the foam to working surfaces cleaned of dust, dirt, grease, deposits, and loose particles, and moderately moistened.

The working position of the can is upside down. Shake the can periodically during work. Fill the working opening to 2/3 of its volume from bottom to top. Spaces deeper than 4 cm and wider than 6 cm should be filled in layers. Apply the next layer over the previous, additionally moistened layer no earlier than after 3 hours. The qualitative and quantitative foam characteristics strongly depend on application conditions and the condition of the applicator gun. During initial curing, the foam has a brittle structure and gains elasticity after final formation. Remove excess formed foam no earlier than 24 hours after application, and paint or plaster the surface to protect it from UV radiation. Remove fresh foam contamination from surfaces and the applicator gun with TM Lacrysil mounting foam cleaner.

Avoid contact between the cleaner and polystyrene products. Cured foam can be removed only mechanically.

FAQ: use, consumption, and common mistakes
  • What is it suitable for?
Provides reliable installation and sealing of door and window blocks, filling cracks, gaps, cavities, and fixing pipes.

  • When is it not suitable?
Do not leave the formed PU joint exposed to UV; do not use it as a load-bearing structure or a replacement for proper fixing.

  • What is the consumption or yield?
No separate consumption value is listed, so estimate from area, joint size, or recommendations for the specific application method.

  • How long does the layer dry or form?
Product specification guide: 3 - 6 hours**. Cold, humidity, or a thick layer can increase the waiting time before loading.

  • What are the common mistakes?
Cold can, wrong working position, overfilling, missing moisture when instructions require it, and an unprotected joint in sunlight.
