Task: Paint a bathroom or kitchen

Showing 1–3 of 3 products

paints help refresh walls, ceilings, facades and individual building elements when an even coating, the right colour and a neat finish are needed. This section includes interior, facade and universal paints, primer enamels, primers and tinting materials for different stages of renovation.

What the paints section helps with

  • decorative painting of walls, ceilings, facades and selected surfaces;

  • refreshing colour without replacing the entire finish;

  • preparing the base before applying the final coating;

  • surface protection within the properties of the specific paint or primer enamel;

  • shade selection with tinting pastes and compatible materials.

How to choose a direction

  • for rooms and ceilings, choose interior paints according to the base and desired finish;

  • for exterior work, choose facade materials intended for outdoor conditions;

  • for different base types, universal paints can be used when their properties match the task;

  • for metal, wood, concrete or radiators, check primer enamels with the relevant intended use;

  • for surface preparation use primers, and for colour adjustment use tinting pastes.

What to check before painting

  • base type, surface condition and previous coating;

  • application area: interior, facade, metal, wood, concrete or another material;

  • coverage rate, recommended number of coats and drying time of the specific product;

  • preparation: cleaning, levelling, priming and a test application when needed;

  • compatibility of paint, primer, tinting paste and application conditions with the manufacturer’s instructions.
