Description

Acrylic adhesive-sealant “2 in 1” combines mounting adhesive and sealant for tasks where an element needs to be fixed and a seam, joint, or gap needs to be closed neatly.

The product is used indoors and outdoors for flooring and thermal insulation systems, glass, plasterboard, plastic, and wooden products on traditional substrates. It is also suitable for structures used in high-humidity conditions and sanitary-purpose rooms.

Before application, the substrate should be dry, strong, level, and cleaned of dust, dirt, mould, grease, old coating residue, and loose particles. Natural stone surfaces, porous substrates, or weakened bases should be pretreated with Lacrysil primer concentrate diluted 1:10 and dried.

Apply the adhesive-sealant into the working cavity or in dots or strips to one of the contact surfaces. After joining, press the surfaces firmly and fix them; the seam width should not exceed 12 mm.

Use the product when the product and ambient temperature is +5°C ... +35°C. Initial setting on moisture-absorbent surfaces takes about 15 minutes; final layer formation takes 2 days and may increase up to 5 days under unfavorable conditions.

Benefits
  • combines adhesive and sealant functions in one material;
  • suitable for mounting construction elements and filling seams, joints, and gaps;
  • can be used indoors and outdoors when manufacturer recommendations are followed;
  • available in a transparent variant for a neat joint;
  • compatible with many traditional construction substrates;
  • available in 0.15 kg and 0.28 kg pack sizes for different work volumes.
Where to use
  • sealing seams, joints, and gaps;
  • mounting elements of flooring systems;
  • work with thermal insulation systems;
  • fixing glass, plasterboard, plastic, and wooden products;
  • structures used in high-humidity conditions;
  • sanitary-purpose rooms and finishing work.
How to choose a variant
  • 0.15 kg is convenient for local repair, small seams, and spot application;
  • 0.28 kg suits a larger amount of mounting or sealing work;
  • choose the transparent color when the joint line should not stand out noticeably;
  • the 2 in 1 format is useful when an element needs fixing and the joint needs sealing at the same time.
How to use
  • clean the substrate of dust, dirt, mould, grease, old coatings, and loose particles;
  • pretreat porous or weakened surfaces with Lacrysil primer concentrate diluted 1:10 and let them dry;
  • make sure the product and ambient temperature is within +5°C ... +35°C;
  • fill the working cavity or apply the material in dots or strips to one surface;
  • join the surfaces, press firmly, and fix them without letting strips merge;
  • allow for initial setting of about 15 minutes and final layer formation within 2 days.

FAQ: use, consumption, and common mistakes
  • What is it suitable for?
    Transparent acrylic adhesive-sealant for fixing construction elements and sealing seams, joints, and gaps.

  • When is it not suitable?
    Do not use as a replacement for mechanical fixing where the element manufacturer requires anchors or dowels; do not bond over dust, grease, or weak layers.

  • What is the consumption or yield?
    Product specification guide: 15 linear m (4x4 mm seam). For an exact estimate, consider area, joint size, application method, and substrate condition.

  • How long does the layer dry or form?
    Product specification guide: 48 hours. Cold, humidity, or a thick layer can increase the waiting time before loading.

  • What are the common mistakes?
    Weak substrate preparation, loading too early, uneven pressing, and choosing adhesive without considering element weight.
