Water Block acrylic waterproofing is a one-component water-resistant material for exterior and interior use.
The product is used for sealing and waterproofing seams, joints, and gaps between building structures. It is also suitable for waterproofing surfaces exposed to high humidity, frequent water contact, or prolonged immersion.
The material is used to create a waterproofing membrane when installing tile and roll materials in sanitary and hygienic premises, as well as waterproofing layers under underfloor heating systems. It is designed for use with most traditional construction materials, enamelled surfaces, and glass surfaces.
The substrate must be dry, strong, level, and free from dust, dirt, mold, grease stains, old coating remnants, other contamination, and particles that are poorly bonded to the surface. Metal surfaces should be protected against corrosion by phosphating or another suitable method before application.
Old tiled coatings, natural stone products, porous or weakened substrates should be treated with TM Lacrysil primer concentrate diluted 1:10 or a 1:10 aqueous solution of the acrylic waterproofing itself, then dried. Before application, stir the product until uniform and make sure the material and ambient temperature are within +5°C ... +35°C.
To seal seams and gaps, fill the working cavity with an even continuous layer of the product and form the required joint shape. To create waterproofing coatings and membranes, apply the material to a primed and dried surface using a spatula, brush, or roller; apply the second and subsequent layers crosswise.
Apply waterproofing in layers no thicker than 1 mm until total coating thickness reaches at least 2 mm. Each next layer should be applied after the previous one dries. One layer forms within 24-48 hours, the final layer requires at least 72 hours, and for surfaces such as pools the coating should be protected with film and kept away from moisture for 7-10 days.
- suitable for exterior and interior work;
- used for seams, joints, and gaps between building structures;
- helps create a waterproofing membrane under tile and roll materials;
- can be used as a layer under underfloor heating systems;
- listed product elasticity is 400%;
- available in white packaging variants of 1.2 kg, 3 kg, 6 kg, and 12 kg.
- sealing and waterproofing seams, joints, and gaps;
- sanitary and hygienic premises with increased humidity;
- waterproofing layers under underfloor heating systems;
- substrate preparation for tile and roll materials;
- surfaces with frequent water contact or possible immersion;
- traditional construction materials, enamelled and glass surfaces after proper preparation.
- 1.2 kg is convenient for a local seam, joint, or small section;
- 3 kg suits a bathroom, technical room, or medium amount of work;
- 6 kg is appropriate for a larger area or several application zones;
- 12 kg is suitable for larger work where material reserve is needed for several layers;
- listed consumption is 0.6 - 1.0 kg/m².
- clean the substrate from dust, dirt, mold, grease, old coatings, and loose particles;
- protect metal surfaces against corrosion before application;
- treat old tile, natural stone, porous, or weakened substrates with TM Lacrysil 1:10 or a 1:10 aqueous waterproofing solution and dry;
- stir the product and work when material and ambient temperature are within +5°C ... +35°C;
- for seams, fill the cavity with a continuous layer and form the joint; for coatings, apply with a spatula, brush, or roller;
- apply layers up to 1 mm, add next layers after previous ones dry, and allow the final layer to cure for at least 72 hours.

What is it suitable for?
Acrylic waterproofing for seams, joints, gaps, waterproofing membranes, underfloor heating, tile and roll materials indoors and outdoors.When is it not suitable?
Do not apply to dirty, greasy, wet, or weak substrates; do not cover with a finish layer before full formation.What is the consumption or yield?
Product specification guide: 0.6 - 1.0 kg/m². For an exact estimate, consider area, joint size, application method, and substrate condition.How long does the layer dry or form?
Product specification guide: 24 - 48 hours. Cold, humidity, or a thick layer can increase the waiting time before loading.What are the common mistakes?
Skipping primer on porous bases, too thin a layer, working on a wet surface, and early water loading.
