Description

Household polyurethane adhesive foam is intended for installing thermal insulation boards and panels on facades and building foundations, as well as for fixing foam and aerated blocks.

It is a one-component polyurethane adhesive foam in aerosol packaging for use with an adapter tube. It is used indoors and outdoors for fixing thermal insulation boards, installing wall panels, filling expansion joints, cavities and gaps, sealing joints, and installing construction materials in household and industrial work.

Before application, clean working surfaces from dust, dirt, grease, ice, frost, and other deposits. At positive temperatures, the substrate should be moistened immediately before application. Use the adhesive foam at -10°C ... +35°C and relative air humidity of at least 70%.

Keep the can at +18°C ... +30°C for at least 24 hours before use, then shake thoroughly for at least 1 minute. Apply the adhesive foam in strips or dots according to the material manufacturer recommendations, keep the layer in the air for 2-3 minutes, then press the element firmly and fix it for about 10 minutes.

The working position of the can is upside down. Shake it periodically during application. After curing, remove excess foam and protect the joint surface from UV radiation by painting or plastering. Uncured foam can be removed with TM Lacrysil mounting foam cleaner, avoiding contact between the cleaner and polystyrene foam surfaces.

  • sealing joints and household installation work.
How to choose a variant
  • choose 800 ml for installing several thermal insulation boards, panels, or filling several cavities;
  • the household format with an adapter tube is convenient when an applicator gun is not needed;
  • consider the orange color if the joint or application area remains visible before finishing;
  • for regular gun application, consider Lacrysil professional adhesive foams.

FAQ: use, consumption, and common mistakes
  • What is it suitable for?
    Adhesive foam with an adapter tube for installing thermal insulation boards and panels, fixing foam and aerated blocks, and filling joints, cavities, and gaps.

  • When is it not suitable?
    Do not leave the formed PU joint exposed to UV; do not use it as a load-bearing structure or a replacement for proper fixing.

  • What is the consumption or yield?
    No separate consumption value is listed, so estimate from area, joint size, or recommendations for the specific application method.

  • How long does the layer dry or form?
    Product specification guide: 0.5 - 6 hours. Cold, humidity, or a thick layer can increase the waiting time before loading.

  • What are the common mistakes?
    Cold can, wrong working position, overfilling, missing moisture when instructions require it, and an unprotected joint in sunlight.
